On the Walldorf stork meadow in Gewann Röhrig, the stork is now part of the landscape again. In 2000 there were still corn and grain fields in this area. The city of Walldorf began to lease and buy the land and put on the stork meadow and ponds (as a "food habitat") since then there has been increased growth here. The eleven to twelve meter high nesting towers can be seen from afar.
