Soooo a great piece of earth. 🥰 My personal insider tip.
You sit under two huge 🌳🌳 next to a beautiful cross and a chapel, while you can look all around at the Gäuboden. ☺️ You can also see the entire Bavarian Forest from the south, from Regensburg to Passau, so to speak. Otherwise you can see Straubing (only towers), Bogen, Bogenberg, Straßkirchen, Loh (only pilgrimage church) and behind them Deggendorf.
You can get there via a tar road from Niederast or via various dirt roads. So it works equally well with a gravel bike, racing bike, mountain bike.
