This beautifully situated and restored vineyard cottage on the Sonnenhang was built in 1860 by Kaspar Geil. (The associated Thomas Geil winery is now run by the eighth generation.) After a restoration, the refuge was awarded the title of most beautiful cottage in 1995. (As of May 2025)
