By bike from the city center in about 30 minutes at the lighthouse. The path through the dunes, over the Zuckerpatt is particularly recommended. Alternatively, the bus can be taken.
It is worthwhile to climb the 54m high Norderneyer lighthouse. It offers a unique view over Norderney and the Wadden Sea World Heritage.
From the beginning of April to the end of October, every day from 2 to 4 pm, you have the opportunity to climb the viewing platform via 254 steps.
