Mountain biking
The camp was located near the abandoned Abteroda potash mine. An underground production facility for the BMW aircraft engine factory in Eisenach was to be built there.
The camp existed from January 1944 to February 1945 and a total of around 2,500 prisoners were imprisoned there.
In 2020 a memorial stone was erected to commemorate the “Anton I and II” concentration camp outposts in Abteroda.
