Bisley is an archetypal Cotswold village, nestled among rolling hills and built of traditional honey-hued stone. Hikers are well catered for, with plenty of excellent day walks in the surrounding area.

The Wysis Way long-distance footpath passes through the village, while the Cotswold Way is a short ramble away to the north and west. Excellent pub food can be found at the 19th-century Stirrup Cup, an award-winning, dog-friendly establishment.
