Built by the Hesbaye - Condroz single track company (although operations were entrusted to the Belgian state company from the start), the line will relentlessly lose experience of the road after World War II and gradually lose the essence of its service.
Until 2011, only the Moha quarry (operated by the Carmeuse Group) was served from Statte at a rate of around one train per week.
