Stairway to Wertheim Castle

Very nicely made staircase from the town hall bridge up to Wertheim Castle. If possible, take this route at the beginning of your tour and not at the end! After a 29 km walk, your knees can hurt a little!

Wertheim is a picturesque town on the Main, known for its historic old town and impressive castle.
