The ferry is included in various cycling and walking routes through the floodplains. 't Kleine Veer, together with the ferry services in Zalk, Wijhe, Olst and Deventer, form a recreational route on both sides of the IJssel.

From Saturday, April 24 to Saturday, October 30, 2021, 't Kleine Veer will sail on the IJssel again daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Because of COVID-19, you must take into account the RIVM recommendations and guidelines. These measures must be strictly observed and are stated on the information board near the ferry.
