Landow Church

Before the fall of the Berlin Wall, the church was in such a poor structural condition that parts of the valuable baroque interior had to be removed. Now it has been restored and is used for cultural events. It has very good acoustics and is a good place to sing, for example Nulla in mundo pax by Vivaldi. :-)

The environment is characterized by absolute silence, everything seems leisurely and a little sluggish, especially on a mild late summer day. You can hike from there to the village Ralow or turn a longer round over the village Ralow to the Rugenhof. From Landow you can also get - in the direction of Ralow - to a ferry about 2 km away to the island of Liebitz and to a mansion, but which is privately owned. Or you can buy self-made wool socks or home-grown vegetables and potatoes at the exit of a stand. Maybe you can engage the landlady who sells there in a conversation and learn some stories about the rascals ....

It's worth resting there and just enjoying a moment's peace and quiet.
