Heidadorf Visperterminen
Municipality in the Visp district; parish of the Visp deanery. Already settled in prehistoric times. The upper part of today's Visperterminen belonged to the Naters parish in the Middle Ages, but is said to have been separated from it in 1221 and to have come to the Visp parish in exchange for Eggerberg. Tithes payable to the cathedral chapter of Sitten in the 12th century; belonged to the outer quarter of the Visp deanery, was represented by the district council in 1335. Agreement on forest and grazing rights with Visp in 1360.
In 1715 the time had finally come and the four places merged to form one municipality; today's Visperterminen municipality. The coat of arms of Visperterminen shows four balls that symbolize these four municipalities. The municipality celebrated the 300th anniversary of this merger in 2015. Visperterminen held a small celebration in all hamlets.
