A pleasant part of the cycle route from Leipzig to Eilenburg runs from Wölpern on the former B87. Completely car-free, some of the old markings can still be seen. From the bike path bridge over the Halle-Cottbuser Bahn you have a beautiful panoramic view.

Beautifully located between fields you have a well-developed "bike path" to Eilenburg. The only drawback is that the barrier for the railway overpass is so narrow, since you have to be very careful here with bike trailers.
