Old and new Quendorf train station. From here you can take the Regiopa (train) in the direction of Bad Bentheim or Neuenhaus. 👍😀

The former station building in Quendorf is used privately today and is located in the immediate vicinity of the Quendorf stop, which was built in 2019 and where the trains of the regional train line 56 (Bad Bentheim - Neuenhaus) stop every hour. The building was erected in 1936 on behalf of Bentheimer Eisenbahn AG (BE). It housed an agent (not a secret agent, but a freelance worker who was officially referred to as an "agent") who took care of ticket sales for the BE. In May 1974 the rail passenger traffic was discontinued. After the inn was closed in the early 1990s, the building was sold. It impresses with its loving restoration, which is tastefully rounded off by railway utensils on the "old" platform, namely a coat booth bell, a station clock, a milestone as a house number and two white benches. The station building in Hestrup is kept in the same architectural style, but was built in 1928.

This is the old train station. The new one looks a bit more spartan, modern.
