Located on the slopes of Mount Tuoro (1424m a.s.l.), and next to the Calore river, which flows a little further downstream, it is a small village that preserves its ancient charm intact. The surrounding landscape is characteristic: the view extends into the neighboring areas to include 28 other villages, a number rarely equaled by the neighboring agglomerations and which makes Castelvetere a terrace overlooking the Irpinia landscape. In the oldest part there is a beautiful widespread hotel!
