Let this section be a memorial: in 2005, a fire once raged here. The first big fire caused by tourists, which destroyed large parts of the national park. In 2012 it burned again, but on the other side of the Torres massif. So no fires outside the authorized fireplaces.
Today, nature has largely regenerated. Maybe you can watch a cougar on his foray. Or a big hare, that's almost as shy.
