Cala Paura

It is accessed by a stone staircase, comfortable but irregular. Access for the disabled is not particularly easy.
It is located near the center of the town, in a cove very characteristic for the rocky inlets that outline the coast. Fascinating even in the evening, for romantic walks and for the fascinating views that can be seen in the moonlight. Typical are the fishermen's cottages and the boats stranded on the shoreline.

Cala Paura (or Cala Paguro). Historic cove of Polignano a Mare. You can get there by trying the staircase to its right (beware of humidity, the steps are many and often slippery), from the bumpy descent along the Via San Vito cycle path or from the dirt road on the left along the edge of the inlet. In summer NOT viable due to the presence of bathers everywhere.
