It goes uphill and downhill. Sometimes narrow, sometimes wide, sometimes through dense vegetation and sometimes the path is not immediately apparent in open terrain. I often had to push uphill because the wheels didn't always grip properly on the scree, but it's pure fun going downhill.
If you want to leave the trail sooner, you have to overcome 2m high obstacles over a fence.
