The impressive brick church from the 13th century, built in early Gothic style, was named Our Lady of the Visitation Church. The church has a remarkable interior including an impressive organ case, famous paintings and a centuries-old pulpit. The church can be visited free of charge every day from 10 am to 4 pm (until 6 pm in the summer months).
Tower visit:
Climb the 264 steps of the church and enjoy a unique panorama while floating about 50 meters above the ground!

Lissewege, the white city, is a place where mainly artists have settled. Lissewege still belongs - like Zeebrugge - to the city of Bruges. The Tower of Onze-Lieve-Vrouwkerk impresses from afar. The church belongs to the Scheldegotik, a regional early Gothic transitional style from Romanesque to Gothic in the coastal area of Flanders.
