Data on the chapel: Year of construction 1914 (built by the siblingsrumrum from Borauel), inauguration 04.08.1914 by Dechant Lapp (Eitorf), badly damaged in the war in 1945, November 1951 reconstruction of the bridge to Borauel and renovation of the chapel by the citizens of Borauel, Consecration 1951 by Pastor Arets (Eitorf), 08/31/1996 new consecration after renovation by citizens of Borauel by Pastor Kabus (Eitorf) and now June 2011 renovation of the chapel from scratch with new roof structure and new windows (all donated by Botex) .
