Tips
Veliko Kladivo is one of the six 2,000-meter peaks on Košuta, a 10-kilometer-long ridge massif in the central Karavanke. The peak is quite visited, as it is easily accessible from the Kofce mountain, and the long and scenic ridge path that leads us to it is also impressive. In terms of popularity, only Veliki vrh at Košute surpasses it at the beginning of this long ridge. Through Veliki Kladivo it is possible to make one of the most beautiful high mountain circular routes in our country. At the top there is an entry box and a stamp and a large state boundary stone. Veliko Kladivo is located in the Gorenjska, Bovška and Koroška regions and in the Karavanke and Strojna subregions, and even narrower in the Western Karavanke subregion.
