Baciului Gorges make up a protected area of national interest that corresponds to the 4th category of IUCN (mixed nature reserve), located in Cluj County, on the administrative territory of Cluj Napoca.
The protected natural area, with an area of 3 ha, is located in the north of Hoia Forest and is crossed by the Valea Lungă and Valea Popești streams. The nature reserve is an area of gorges dug in Eocene limestone, with a special geological importance (rocks), paleontological (fossil deposits and botany (mixed forests, grasses, rock vegetation).
