The church of Maria Santissima del Rosario, simply called the church of the Rosary, is a monumental nineteenth century building built next to what was a small church dedicated to St. Joseph (built in turn after the earthquake of 1783). The church is divided into three naves decorated with works by local and non-local sculptors. The exterior is decorated with numerous orders of columns and also has two bell towers. Maria Santissima del Rosario, to whom the church is dedicated, is usually celebrated on 7 October.
