Small chapel next to the street with an interesting floor plan and wooden shingled roof. Inside you can marvel at an ornate altar and colorful ceiling paintings.

The chapel of St. Anna auf dem Felde is a Roman Catholic chapel in the municipality of Lingenau in Vorarlberg. It is dedicated to Saint Anna and is a listed building (list entry).

In 1722, a baroque chapel was built on the site of a previous chapel by master builder Konrad Nussbaumer from Lingenau and master carpenter Konrad Bilgeri, which was inaugurated on May 4, 1728. The small central building is a tetraconchos. It is plastered and has a curved, wooden shingled roof with a lantern. The square interior with pilasters placed over the corner and the conches has a cross vault. The conches each have two windows with a sloping sill.

The altar is a two-story, spatially curved, profitable structure with Corinthian columns, pilasters and blown beams and an attachment with volutes, on the altar two baroque paintings of Anna Maria teaching reading and Joachim with two doves from 1968, marked K. Honold.

In 1894 there was an interior restoration with paintings by Jakob Bertle, in 1968 there was a complete restoration with a ceiling painting with an allegorical representation of the founding of the Feldkirch diocese by Konrad Honold and in 1984 there was another overall restoration.

St. Anna Chapel, the starting and ending point of the hike. Along with the parish church, it is the most important building in Lingenau made of tufa.

The Baroque church, a listed historical monument, dates back to 1722 according to its keystone. The builder is believed to have been one of the masters of the Bregenzerwald school of architecture. Constructed from tufa stone, the chapel, with its Greek cross shape, is a unique structure in the entire region and has undergone several thorough renovations, most recently in 1968 and 1990. The ceiling frescoes, created in 1968 by the Schruns artist Konrad Honold, depict individuals who were either born in Vorarlberg or who worked there. Among them was Vorarlberg's first diocesan bishop, Bruno Wechner. The altarpiece portrays Saint Anne.
