ERRATIC BLOCK

The Erratic Block is located about 400 meters as the crow flies west of Waldburg on a wooded hill and can be reached via a partly narrow and very beautiful path.

The term "erratic block" is derived from Latin and means to wander around, to wander around. So the "wandering and wandering stone". An erratic block is a single, very large stone.

Before the secret of their origins was revealed, people told each other fabulous stories, such as "Giants would have hurled stones through the air". These large stone blocks are mostly associated with sagas and legends.
