Mariborsko Pohorje, together with Areh, is considered to be the largest winter center in Slovenia. It has about 42 kilometers of ski trails and 20 different lifts, the most famous of which is the Pohorje cable car. With its offer of easy and more demanding pistes, Pohorje is suitable for all skiers, and in particular it has established itself as a popular family ski resort. In winter, it also boasts more than seven kilometers of illuminated night ski runs, and in addition to skiing and snowboarding, it offers visitors a number of other winter activities.
