The Zirbenweg is a beautifully laid out path that runs both below and above the tree line and thus encompasses various alpine regions. He is very useful about that. There are only a few short blocked and exposed passages. Therefore, it is also accessible for normal hikers. The descent at the end towards the Gepatschhütte is quite steep and when it rains - as we had it - no fun. Otherwise absolutely recommendable.
