Baška on the island of Krk has stunning beaches and crystal-clear waters. Vela Plaža is particularly popular.

Sv. Marek, the only sandy beach on the island of Krk, is located near the village of Risika and 6 km from Vrbnik. The beach is located in St. Mark's Bay, which got its name from the Church of St. Mark, the ruins of which are nearby. On the beach there are sun decks in the sand or in the meadows, hospitality, boat docks, sanitary facilities and parking. There are loungers, parasols and pedal boats for rent.
