The Galileo Galiei astronomical observatory in Suno is an Italian observatory located in Motto Zufolone, a fraction of the Novara municipality of Suno. Its MPC code is 147 Suno Astronomical Observatory.
It was built by the APAN (Novara provincial association of amateur astronomers) and started operating in 1985.
It consists of a specola surmounted by a hemispherical dome with a diameter of 4.5 m and a conference room.
The main telescope is a Newtonian reflector with 400mm aperture, 2200mm focal length and equatorial fork mount. The secondary telescope, used for guidance, is a 200mm reflector. The finder is a refractor with a 120mm aperture.
The observatory also carries out dissemination activities.
