I would like to point out this variant to the Via degli Dei, to be followed as an alternative to the classic climb to the Prati di Mugnano. The main point of interest is the presence, along the dirt part of the route, of a vine plant (called "del Fantini", from the name of the person who brought it to the attention of botanists) dating back to the 18th century, inexplicably escaped to the epidemic of phyillossera vastatrix which almost completely annihilated vines throughout Europe during the 19th century. Today the plant is in precarious conditions, if you pass this way, respect it :-)
