Col de Saxel is not enough for today, but you don't want to go up to Signal de Voirons? Then Supersaxel is a superb alternative with nice views of the lake and the Jura. You can continue the climb up to the parking lot and the gravel road beyond that. At the top there is another nice view, but it's not possible to descent towards Burdignin.
