Since the state horticultural show was opened in Leverkusen in 2005, the city has again had “a bank of the Rhine with great local recreational value”: We are talking about the Neuland Park. The gem was created on the "Dhünnaue Mitte" site. Bayer AG used the 25 hectares on the Rhine from 1923 to the late 1940s as a plant landfill.
