The Old Rhine winds its way along the Swiss border to Lake Constance. The natural landscape along the Old Rhine promises a wonderful recreational program for everyone. The sections between Hohenems and Lustenau are particularly popular for swimming. Evening strolls or bike rides along the Rhine are also possible. There are also barbecue areas where you can spend some time. The wildlife is also worth a look: the numerous bird species and beautiful butterflies invite you to marvel at them.
In addition to freely accessible natural areas that are popular for swimming, there is also a public swimming pool on the Old Rhine. The Rheinauen recreation center offers many amenities for guests. These include direct access to the Old Rhine and additional heated swimming pools.
