This great trail / hiking trail is mostly very narrow and with changeable, sometimes very muddy or rooty ground. Some small rivulets and streams have to be crossed. Sturdy shoes recommended! You will be rewarded with beautiful, untouched nature and ancient trees. A constant companion is the Großer Schierensee, which you sometimes see more, sometimes less.
