The main pieces of the monumental group in the port of Cambrils represent sirens, the Dolça i la Calma, perceived by a young fisherman, Adrià, representing the hopeful future. Inaugurated in 2011, the work is made of sheet metal, ceramic and stoneware and is the work of local artist David Callau. This sculptural group commemorates the victims of 1911, known as the "Year of the Accident", because many fishermen from the Catalan and Valencian coast died in this year, including some from Cambrils.
