Krefeld Promenade Bike Path

Between Kuhleshütte (comprehensive school Oppum) and Buddestraße and on to Hochbend it goes next to the tram line 044. Only for cyclists.

This approximately 2 km long Oppum section goes from the Kuhleshütte to Ossumer Straße and then connects to the Krefeld R4 cycle route.
Unfortunately there is no connection from the shunting yard to the Kuhleshütte,
which will take a few more years due to Deutsche Bahn's bridge construction expansion on the Trift underpass.

Unfortunately the interruptions are Buddestr., Maybachst. and Cron
more than doubtful since the streets in question are zone 30.
It would not be a problem to raise the streets at the intersections a little higher and to provide them with flashing lights and to limit cars and bicycles to 10 km/h.
However, the Oppum district council and the Oppum citizens' association have no interest in protecting cyclists and giving them the right of way.
I'm curious to see how long it takes for the first child to end up under a car.

Rather, the district council is probably only interested in defusing the life-threatening crossing of the Sandbergschule!
What an irony.
