Steep Hill is a quirky cobbled street famous for its independent businesses. With a terrific assortment of vintage shops, boutiques, eateries, cafes, tea rooms, chocolatiers, fudge parlours, plus more, it is a great place to explore. Steep Hill was voted Britain's Great Street by the Academy of Urbanism in 2012. Due to its 16.12º gradient, it is the fourth steepest street in England, according to Ordnance Survey.
