In 1882 the current neo-Gothic church was built, which was inaugurated in 1884.
In 1883 a brick vault was discovered under the burned-down church, which contained the remains of several tin coffins. The years 1604 and 1616 indicate that this was the burial place of the Bredows, who owned the village from 1355.translated by
