Casuals is the work of artist Broadbent, who interviewed former dockworkers and their families to create this unique piece. Each installation represents a dock worker’s union card and features real workers' names and photographs. The way the pieces are arranged is a nod to how some workers would often be out of work, while others were employed more regularly.
