What a cross-border commuter. Bavaria-Wuerttemberg.
A boundary stone every few meters.

We walked this trail in March, it hadn't rained in weeks. We were thrilled by this beautiful hiking trail that meanders romantically through the forest for kilometers on soft forest floor or along the Gollach. Approx. every 50 m are the old boundary stones of the Kingdom of Bavaria and the Kingdom of Baden-Württemberg. Now, after the first warm days, the first squills and whole carpets of snowdrops are blooming here. The first wild garlic leaves are also sticking out of the ground.
