The three-country point Aachen is between Germany, Belgium and Holland
The cathedral city of Aachen is the westernmost city in Germany.
It borders on Belgium and the Netherlands.
The Netherlands, or commonly called Holland, is a fairly flat country.
But about 5 km west of Aachen city center is Holland's highest mountain - the Vaalserberg with 322 m.
And exactly on this mountain is the three-country point Aachen - Holland - Belgium.
The exact location is 2 km away from Vaals in the Dutch province of Limburg.
Vaals is a small border town, where a lot of Germans live, especially students who study in Aachen. In short, Vaals is almost a district of Aachen.

I have now learned from other highlights that it is something special for people who did not grow up in a border region to cross a border on a bike tour 😁
Then this is the holy grail with 3 countries that meet and you can take a photo of your racing bike in 3 countries at the same time 😏 And also take the highest point in the Netherlands with you. Personally, I think it's the most beautiful approach from Gemmenich (BE). But there are 3 options 😁
