Tips
After two years of construction, the section of the Vogelsbergbahn from Lauterbach to Grebenhain was completed in 1901. At the urgent request of the community, Frischborn was given its own breakpoint about one and a half kilometers east of the village. In the former station building, the area around which is decorated with a few signals, is now the "Zentralstation" restaurant.
