Enville is a pretty little village occupying an enviable position in what was once the Royal Forest of Kinver. Today the parish still retains 400 acres (162 ha) of woodland, pockets of which surround the village, a patchy cloak on the gently rolling hills and valleys.

The village is not far from the popular walking areas of Kinver Edge and Kingsford Forest Park to the south and Highgate Common to the north.

Notable buildings in the village include Enville Hall, a grand house, with its Georgian Romantic turrets, battlements and Gothic motifs. The Staffordshire Way long-distance footpath passes through its splendid grounds. Back in the village, the Cat Inn is a picturesque 18th-century pub that serves good food.
