Beacon at Nörvenich Air Base

The air base Nörvenich is a military airfield near Nörvenich in the district Düren in North Rhine-Westphalia.
He was initially planned for use by the British Royal Air Force (RAF Nörvenich) as another so-called clutch station in addition to the RAF Geilenkirchen, RAF Wildenrath, RAF Brüggen and RAF Laarbruch.

The size of the beacon right next to the driveway is impressive. The beacon is close to the fence, along which a tarred bike path runs.
