Best Hikes to Chillington Hall Avenue

Tips

  • This mile-long avenue of oak trees is the eastern approach to the privately owned Chillington Hall. The trees were originally planted by Peter Giffard sometime around 1725, though some of the trees would have been pre-existing.

At the end of the avenue, you can make out Chillington Hall, a Georgian manor house that is home to the Giffard family.
