The Serraglio dei Cervi is one of the architectures that are located inside the Monza Park. The characteristic and scenographic entrance door, built in an imaginative neo-Gothic style by Canonica, stands alone inside the pristine Bosco Bello and served as access to the area originally intended for the repopulation of game. Canonica had developed several projects during 1808; the final choice fell on the particular ogival arch, which rises directly from the ground, flanked by two slender turrets, which was already completed in August 1809.
