The Hoensbeek is a stream in the south of the Dutch province of Limburg. It is a side stream of the Geleenbeek on its left bank. The stream has a length of approximately two kilometers and originates at Castle Haeren, west of Voerendaal. The Hoensbeek flows in a northeasterly direction, along the northern edge of Voerendaal, past the Hoenshuis and Puth Castle to the Geleenbeek near Rivieren Castle. The middle course of the brook flows through a low part of the Heerlen basin where wetland forests and wet grasslands are found on both sides.
