A path with steep gradients that leads from Alpe di San Michele to the center of Mesenzana through boulder altars revered by the Celts and the ghost village of Cavojasca. It is the brand new “Trekking degli insubri. a valley rich in water and mysticism, populated since the Iron Age and then Christianized. It is a ghost village, inhabited until 1943, in the heart of the forest. All this is the trekking of the insubrians, a wild path that leads after 500 meters of altitude difference covered in about four kilometers from the top - in San Michele, municipality of Porto Valtravaglia - up to Mesenzana passing through Brissago Valtravaglia.
