Along with Montebello and Castel Grande, Sasso Corbaro is one of the three famous castles of Bellinzona. It was built at the end of the 15th century by order of Ludovico Il Moro. Since 2000 it has been a UNESCO heritage site and belongs to the Canton of Ticino. It occasionally hosts temporary exhibitions.
