The hut is the destination of the Green Lake Track. The track is very old and not well maintained and should therefore be used with a GPS device.
The hut is right on Green Lake and you can go for a nice swim after the hike and recharge your batteries.
In the hut there are mattresses for sleeping and tools for collecting firewood. There is also a fireplace, toilet, rainwater tanks and a large communal table.
