Currently standing on dry land - used to protect access to a polder which has now been dried out. Allegedly lowest point of Poland (according to new measurments) is located nearby.

The lowest point in Poland, according to the Little Statistical Yearbook of Poland 2022 prepared by the Central Statistical Office, is the village of Marzęcino in Pomerania. It is located at a level of 2.2 m below sea level. Previously, Raczki Elbląskie in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship was considered the lowest point.
